After graduating from UVM and Columbia University, Mr. Lang spent a decade of his early career working in the historic preservation field and then had thirty years’ experience working in high-end design, construction, and remodeling on global retail projects while headquartered in New York, San Francisco, and Hong Kong. Mr. Lang is a current and past owner of several historic properties and with his many years spent living away from Vermont, is an expert in the subtilties of managing properties from afar.

Mr. Lang and his family returned to Vermont and are now living full-time in their former second home in Dorset. A skier since the age of three, Derryl loves spending time in the great outdoors, and takes full advantage of the variety of four-season activities that the area has to offer.
